We make coats for the long middle of the year.

Grayhaven started with a simple frustration: coats that looked beautiful in October and tired by February. We wanted outerwear built the way it used to be — heavier cloth, real linings, seams that hold — without the ceremony that usually comes with it.
Every piece is cut in small runs. That keeps our fabric orders honest, it keeps waste low, and it means we can change a sleeve or a pocket the moment a customer tells us something isn't right. Wool, cotton, silk and responsibly sourced down do most of the work; the colour palette stays close to the woods outside the studio.
Alongside seasonal outerwear we keep a small seasonless group — knitwear, a silk blouse, a midi dress — chosen because they work under our coats and carry through the warm months on their own.
